Paying 10% on income generated from hosted galleries that the disigner makes instead of a one off payment?

I think that is very fair actually and will consider it when I launch my program. Thanks for the idea...

Sounds fair, since things change and it might help staying up with trends to balance the payment.

Why is a designer different from anyone else? The program owner owns the content, pays the hosting, gets the affiliates, makes the payouts, etc but some monkey who does nothing but advanced grunt work on the galleries gets 10% recurring for life. Hmmm.

Yeh maybe 5% not that I think about it. They can spit em out pretty quick.

Maybe because a good gallery designer can make the difference
between thousands, or no signups off your hosted galleries.

You can get any of these indian and russian kids to make
galleries for $5/hr. However a real pro should charge a lot more.

Most programes are willing to pay 10% refferal and this way you pay for what you really get instead of galleries that just burn BW It would sort the good from the bad very quickly as poor designers would stop making galleries programe owners would get better galleries. Good gallery designers are not Monkeys but marketers if you dont know the diffence its time you did.
