What's fun online? Is there anything "cool" left or is it all a bunch of web-shops, membership sites and spyware?

I remember there used to be lots of underground h@x0r type sites, online communities with large groups of people who hung out there, chat rooms, games, etc.. It seems lately that there isn't really much entertainment anymore.

how about some live journal or b2b- business to bussines.

There are some good blogs and personal sites out there these days. That's about all I can find that truly entertains me anymore. I don't think the problem is the lack of entertaining things. The problem is we work online and have pretty much seen it all.
