Next week's Jets-Patriots game

This will be a good game, two 5 and 0 teams going head to head.

Any thoughts, predictions, smack talk?

My spidey sense says go with the Pats on this one, but I'll have to see what the spread looks like before rendering my final pick.

Curtis martin will run for 76 yards on 14 carries in the first half. He will break 2 ribs on a hit administered by R.Colvin coming in on an outside blitz. He will NOT Score a TD. He will not make it past 3 carries in the second half.

Pennington will go 26 for 38 for 294 yards with 1 TD and 3 INT.

The score will be 33 - 13 Patriots.

Dillon will rush for 118 yards on 26 Carries and a TD.

Vinatieri will kick 4 field goals 26, 36, 38, 47 yards each.

Brady will pass for 273 yards 2 TD, and 0 INT.

Game will be decided in the first half. Jets will not Score in the second Half.

This game is going to be a tuff pic. Both teams are evenly matched. My prediction is it is not only going to be Tom Brady, vs Chad Pennington but the defensive plays. I think NE has a better defense. They have depth and expierience. As well as heart. I pick pats over jets 28-17.

This is going to be the best game of the season with the Pats winning 30 to 13...

WWC - Jimmy 10-17-2004 10:26 PM

Two great teams, but the Pats are going all the way..

wedouglas 10-17-2004 10:28 PM

i need C. Martin to light it up and score 2 tds and 150 yards...this guy is money this year

sickkittens 10-17-2004 10:29 PM

Counting this week, Pats have the toughest schedule for 4 straight weeks...

SEA, NYJ, PIT, STL

Interesting read on this page... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/7775006 ... with the so-called experts all predicting who will finally beat the Patriots. I think Gil Brandt's opinion makes the most sense there. Seems several of those guys thought Seattle would beat them.... all I can say to that is ":1orglaugh"

As I said, I'll have to see what the spread looks like on Tuesday before deciding, but I can see I'm in for another tough decision the following week when they play the 5-and-1 Pittsburgh IN Pittsburgh.

Either that or the Jets are the most underrated team in the league this year.

And they play them twice, once more on Dec. 26th.

adamneve 10-18-2004 01:18 AM

let's go Jets :glugglug

Will any of you Jets fans be putting some money on the game?

Will any Patriots fans?
