You can easily switch between the two.
Im sure there are programs that go along with
icq to allow you to do so. much like DeadAim does
for AOL Instant Messanger.

Just google something like, Running Dual ICQ or
something of the like.

If you willing to deal with dropped messages.

A lot of people I know, that use Trillian, have dropped
messages from both, other Trillian users and normal
ICQ users. Id much rather run each messenger
separately.

You can not start two simultaneous ICQ processes.

Trillian Pro is fine. Whoevers losing messages must have compatibility probs. I'd much rather run trillian than 4 bulky ass messengers each with their own popup bullshit and memory hogging.

I'm not sure how but I know you can. I have a few on my list that have 2 names.

:)

Here is one for AIM.

Pop-ups? I get none.

REGRET 10-17-2004 06:09 AM

Can you even use 1 anymore? ICQ always seems to be down

I second that, I've used trillian for years, no problems at all with lost messages or anything of the like. Did loose my logs once though, but that was pretty much my own fault :(

Trillian, or atleast trillian pro can have several simultaneous instances of icq, irc, msn and all that shit.:thumbsup

do you want to be online with both ICQs at the same time ? or do you just want a second icq no on the same box ?

if you just want a second icq you just have to start up icq , go to the main menu and choose to log off and switch to other user ,
