welcome to the club. they only got me for like 300 bucks though.

i sold a website and the buyer felt a need to identify it. they had to have been watching the acoutn as it would have taken work to find the site.

Why did you have a few k in the account?

Meaning it was an adult url and they spanked you for that?

Dont count on getting all your money back either. There have been some people that say they have only gotten 50% or less.

Ask your customer to dispute the payment and pay you with a check or something

i wouldnt tell the customer to do that, as he will just get his account frozen also, then you might not get shit.

You used paypal to do an Adult transaction?....... now they froze your account and you're pissed? ..... but you new their terms and new you shouldn't do the transaction and chose to do it anyway?

i can't believe paypal is able to hold funds, they should close the account and send a cheque or something.

Well.. we learned dont do adult and DONT leave any balances in your account if your going to try to skirt around the terms.

As long as your follow their rules to get the account cleared you will only have to fax all of your personal info to them 5 or 6 times before they actually say they got it.

Hope you have a fax machine, if not then expect several trips to Kinkos.

start there. Call up everybody in every department at least once a day and ask why your account was closed, what rules you broke, when they expect it to be up, and if you can talk to a supervisor. If they l et you talk to him ask him the same questions. Call everyday and within a few weeks your account will be back to normal ;)

I got my money back in less than a month when they closed my account.

they're much better about re-opening accounts the last year. years ago once it gets locked its locked for good.

I noticed they are reviewing it so maybe I can beg forgiveess to the ebay gods or something.

With Epassporte (www.epassporte.com) why are still people using PayPal? - those paranoid fucks has tons of security measures (which is good to some extend but so much shit that they use means they don't have effecient protection) and high fees, and limited number of countries that can use them.. They SUCK!

The minute they closed my account they sent it to my bank. I had my money wihtin a few days.

Just closed me too. I don't even have a site. I just receive affiliate payments from 2 sites. Guess I will have to change the way they pay me.
