Changing the user agent back takes no effort/time whatsoever, so that isn't really a problem.

At risk of sounding very stupid, I just started using fiefox a day or so ago, and am still getting used to this download stuff with it. I allowed the site to install the software, how do I edit/add to the options now?

After you install it, the options are in Tools--> User Agent Switcher

then from there you can select which agent to use or options to add more agents.
