I'm looking for a PHP coder who can do this:
The speedometer in this design
^- In PHP GD take that speedometer, and provided only with 2 variables (one being the # of current members which would be pulled from a mysql table, second being a set # of maximum members (in the case of the design it'd be 400)) - and both display the # of members in the red font (they'd be seperate images 0-9 i know) and rotate the "needle" specifically where it would be to indicate that number. So that it'd be real-time / dynamic. Is this possible? If so let me know. :winkwink: |
Please do hit me up now. See sig :thumbsup
Thanks! |
PROGMATIXXX are the guys :thumbsup
|
i'd much rather just deal with someone specifically on this and not a link to some company.
|
the numbers are easy but the guage will be java.
|
you could do it with flash mixed with alot of options. Nice looking site though bro.
|
sup mate,
flash is the way dude... more dynamically and can make it look more real instead of images... and shit... |
i surf with disabled flash for many reasons.
the thing is simple. make a pointer and save it. do some math to get your angle. rotate the pointer pic and put it on your other image with gd. done. java and flash are nice, but also have a lot of disadvantages. |
I like that design a lot no wonder you want to copy that aspect...
|
one more bump
|
The whole thing can be done in GD very basic.
RTFM man. |
Nice design btw.... I would go with flash anyway even though GD can do it.
