My firewall detects trojan intrusion attempts
But my antivirus never finds a trojan.
I am using Norton Security. So.. what is up with this? |
Turn of your computer and burn it...
NOW!!! |
I hate Norton:glugglug
Have you run updated copies of AdAware and Spybot? What anti-virus program are you using? AVG anti-virus is free and has served me well for 3 or 4 years now. |
Just ignore it, everything is fine.
|
Most likely just random port scans and worms looking for open ports. As long as your patched you should be fine.

The firewall just uses a default intrusion message for every paticular port that gets scanned. |

If the antivirus doesn't catch it, then the firewall reports when it attempts to access the internet. Paranoid? I think not.. |
Thats total bullshit those programs display. They block connections from sites when you surf websites and tell you it's a trojan. Also portscans and other harmless crap.
If you'd have a little knowledge you wouldn't use such a useless app. |
Norton is useless against trojans and adware.
Get Spybot or Adware or Trojan Hunter. For Antivirus get AVS, Norton Firewall is fairly decent but the antivirus is just crap. |

I feel more comfortable using this WORTHLESS FUCKING APP. :321GFY |

I am amazed how many different adware related files each program finds on it's own. I'll check into Trojan Hunter as well. |
