I know what you mean 100%. Here is a perfect example: I was in my car the other day when a middle aged half bald guy with some weird hair cut rolled up in a ferrai playing very loudly that song from Top Gun "high way to the danger zone" He looked like the biggest idiot but probably thought in his head he was THE MAN becuase he owns some business or has lots of money somehow. Or how about gangsters that act all ghetto and drive funny ghetto cars and think they are the shit while everyone around them is laughing at them.

Keeping a low profile, good friends, and loved ones close, handle your business, and fuck everyone else. thats the way to do it. people who try to look important or act important are the worst kind. I have far more respect for someone who is humble and just agrees with some pompous ass trying to prove his point, than the jackass trying to be right at every turn.

You see alot of that on this board. just let it go. agree with them, who cares, what does it really matter in the end, it doesnt. If your gonna be successful then you will be no matter what others think about you.

I dont think Alien Q is trying to be negative, I think he is just stating a fact. You must admit there are tons of people on GFY that act so damn important and think they are better than everyone just because they have had some kind of success. Money isnt what makes a man (it may help a little) but what really makes a man is his attitude. Right?

The perception of caring for "you're own", I think is the closest answer to being "Important". At least important to others. Knowing your important to others is where things become perverted and the power is played.
