Thanks. So the $5 per $100 means I can add $50 later (after the initial $50-$5) and not get charged $5 (during my next load)?

Can epassporte money be withdrawn anywhere in the world?

Say I open an account in Japan, can I send the card to someone in Thailand who can withdraw money from my epassporte account if I give them my pin number?

I think as long as they use an ATM that is connected to the VISA network you can withdraw money anywhere.

I think.

So they give out visa cards to anyone in any country who sings up and pays the necessary fees?

Paypal only allowed you to withdraw in a few select countries so I ask.

How is this different from paypal in other ways like ease of payment etc?

I've been off the grid for a few days and just saw this.

So, to answer your question, you can open an account from any country except those black-listed by the Patriot act.

Once you open an account, you can send money instantly to any ePassporte account holder on the planet (see restriction in previous paragraph). The receiver pays nothing ro receive the money and they do not need to know *your* PIN.

You can even send payments to other account holders from your mobile phone. That's right... instant transfers without even needing to be in front of a computer -and- their are NO additional fees for this service.

I wish my bank did that.
