How FUCKING irresponsible is THIS??

My god I'm still freaking out.

We get a phone call from our kids daycare. Two of the kids in the group that walk home together, ran home to say that my son and another kid weren't coming, because they refused to leave my daughter, because some lady said she was gonna take my daughter home???

My wife is telling me this as she's running up the stairs and out the door, so I don't have time to get dressed (which is a good thing, 'cause I'd have freaked on on someone if I ran into them).

I tell her she's got 10 minutes to get to the school and call me or I'M calling the police.

I literally had my hand on the phone debating whether or not to call them.

After 5 minutes I call HER. She says she spoke with my daughter's teacher and was told it WAS another child's mother. My wife told HER that noone had permission to take our child anywhere.

She said she'd call the daycare and see if they were there.

She called me back right away and told me that my son, my daughter and the other kid were just walking up to the daycare right now.

WHAT the fuck was this parent thinking??

Sure, the kid obviously only wanted to have a "Play date", but there's NO way in HELL, I'd bring another kid home, without first speaking to the parents first and letting them know their kid wouldn't be where they were supposed to be after school.

Maybe I'm overreacting, but I'm still shaking.

i don't think you're over reacting. i would be tweaking too if i heard someone wanted to just take my kid.

that's just a stupid way to do things. obviously she wasn't thinking a bit.

Depends how old the kids are really, but sounds like yours are young. My mom always had to know EVERYTHING that was going on, but my friends moms were a different story.

6 year old son, 5 year old daughter.

We were supposed to wait longer to have sex in-between, but I'm a horndog, what can I say.

And calming down finally.

I would file a complaint with the police right away. Who the fuck knows if the other parent is some deranged pedo fuck. Damn, if that shit happened with my kid I would have went fuckin nuts on the other parent

xclusive 10-15-2004 02:15 PM

that's fucked up and a lot of bad things could happen to a kid in this situation, I would pressure the owners of the daycare to get this woman and her kid out of the program. It;s for the safety of your child take no chances...

wdsguy 10-15-2004 02:16 PM

I don't know what kind of school your kids goto that would let someone take your child with out explicit written permission from the parent

Ok now here's the real question, why did your daycare allow your kids to go off with another woman? I mean come on, your kids surely aren't walking home alone.

psyko514 10-15-2004 02:20 PM

That's fucked up. You're definetly not overreacting. The woman shouldn't have done that, and the daycare shouldn't have let her.

Christ, had you called the cops, the woman would have one hell of a headache right now.

JayRevenue 10-15-2004 02:25 PM

i can't believe the daycare would allow that.

i would have smacked the shit out of everyone within reach.

There's a group of 5 kids ranging from kindergarten to grade 3 that all walk through a small field and around the corner to the daycare.

I don't see a problem with that at all.

If it was my 5 or 6 year old alone? No, they wouldn't be walking even that far. Just out of fear of bullies.

The daycare is around the corner and out of sight. I don't blame the daycare, or the school for that matter.

I blame my daughter and the idiot mother, who it turns out we KNOW and DOES have a few screws loose. Not in a pedo-murder way, just an I didn't graduate grade 4 type of way.

fang 10-15-2004 02:33 PM

I'd pull my kids out of that fucked up day care and freak on the other dumb ass parent, what the fuck were they thinking...and I mean BOTH the day care and the other parent.

Some people should not have kids and for damn sure some people should not be allowed to be in charge of kids. :2 cents:

the mother's intelligence is definitely questionable.

I totally agree with Sly. Actually, I would take that issue to the local press.

detoxed 10-15-2004 02:38 PM

You are overreacting, I just wanted to play for a few hours

MikeVega 10-15-2004 02:51 PM

I would have freaked also...some of these kids parents are fucked up...you never know if SexEd has a kid at your school and wants to use his kid to get other kids to his house....:feels-hot

Strife 10-15-2004 02:59 PM

Damn, can't believe a daycare would allow that to happen....time to sue

KRL 10-15-2004 03:01 PM

I had that happen once. Some mother of a kid who was friends with my kid. And the teacher let him go home with his friend and the mom without realizing he wasn't supposed to be going with her.
