Indeed 10-15-2004 01:48 PM

very nice spot to put a TV. Very high above the ground and just over a fireplace.

LiveDose 10-15-2004 01:49 PM

Nice. We got a Pioneer recently. I couldn't believe how heavy it was!

Well since its a big room you have to sit pretty far back from the TV, the height isnt a problem. The fireplace.... again not a problem, there is a few feet of protection in between the two, no smoke from the fireplace, and heat wont get to it.

dunefield 10-15-2004 02:07 PM

is it show and tell time?

adamneve 10-15-2004 02:18 PM

axelcat 10-15-2004 02:34 PM

nice tv

xclusive 10-15-2004 02:38 PM

I know it wont be much but when you fire up the fireplace make sure you wipe the screen down afterwards the little bit of soot that will get on the tv is highly corosive. Just a heads up and it's looking good...Also that little box to the right would look sweet mounted right in the middle underneath the mantle...

What about taking the shelf down and adding a slightly bigger one so that it's a perfect fit it would cost under $100...

A bunch of critics in this thread jesus.

Nice TV.

NaughtyAlysha 10-15-2004 06:48 PM

We have our plasma on a stand down low. I don't like looking up at the TV, I'd rather look down or straight at it. We love ours, the viewing angle is awesome, almost a full 180 degrees.
