Za Ha 10-15-2004 08:04 AM

Stop eating for a few weeks. That should work. LOL

Try a fat burner, those do wonders (Zantrex)

jollyperv 10-15-2004 08:05 AM

Go get some cocaine, that should solve everything.

sexyclicks 10-15-2004 08:05 AM

Make sure there's a nice buffet and you've got a decent DJ, plus let them know that there's going to be a good percentage of women.
Try not to schedule your event when there might be conflicts, such as birthdays or religious holidays.
And most of all, send a cordial invitation with an RSVP, and perhaps a small gift, so you know for sure they're going to make it!

moneybiz 10-15-2004 08:06 AM

Its like just a little bit of fat. Cant seem to get it off, drivin me nutso.

sickkittens 10-15-2004 08:07 AM

you need to have them before they can show. :winkwink:

EscortBiz 10-15-2004 08:08 AM

ok well first off stop drinking stuff with gas in it, cola etc

second you need to lose excess water, models and bodybuilders use diuretics to get shredded to peices, but you can take natrual diuretics and see good results too and is less dangerous.

If you use xpel for 3 weeks expect to see some good cuts.

If sit ups etc would get people abs everyone would be walking around with a six pack, its low body fat that does it most bodybuilders do maybe 20 situps and crunches every few days.

Everyone has abs its just fat that is covering it, and 80% of fat is water

Bigwilly 10-15-2004 08:08 AM

i know what im talking about and let me tell you now that you are asking the wrong form. The majority of the people on this forum are extremely clueless so i suggest if you are serious go to

www.bodybuilding.com

and do some research. If you work out your abs correctly the reason why they would not be showing is because of your body fat percentage. Clean up your diet no soda if you not sure what too eat and what not to eat visit this thread i found and helped me out when i was clueless.

http://www.wannabebigforums.com/showthread.php?t=46565

what type of work out program are you useing now, what is your diet like now, how much cardio do you do?

Mt. Dew is probably a lot of the problem . . . and alcohol. Have you tried pilates? Lots of sit ups and crunches can actually prevent your abs from showing. Twisting moves are the easiest and fastest way to get rid of the belly. And don't fprget the cardio!

i strongly suggest you do some research before consuemeing any pills suggested, odds are if you clean up your diet you wont need any pills.

tony286 10-15-2004 08:13 AM

The first thing I would do is get your body fat percentage measured by a professional. That will give you a real idea of where you are.

i seroiusly doubt that his problem is water retention, considering im willing to bet that his diet isent up to par.

skyechase 10-15-2004 08:18 AM

There is nothing unique about abdominal muscles as far as their training and response to training is concerned. The principles that apply to biceps and triceps apply equally to abs. So the three critical elements of your ab workouts are:

1- High-intensity of muscular overload
2- Progressive intensity from workout to workout
3- Proper spacing of workouts to avoid overtraining or undertraining

Most people do sit-ups or crunches as an ab exercise. While these are basically good exercises that can satisfy point 1 above, how many people use them in a way that satisfies point 2? Muscles will only develop in response to overload that is above normal. So if you do 20 crunches every day for a year, why would your ab muscles develop beyond that capacity? They won't.

To force new development, you need to increase the intensity. You could add a few crunches every day, but that really just increases duration; there is a better way to get fast results.

Chaldoray 10-15-2004 08:19 AM

Go on a healthy diet, workout 5 days a week.
Do cardio atleast 2 days of the week on your workout plan.
Eat mostly high-protein low-carb diets, don't eat no candy or junk food and that should help you.

ok well lets go over a few things, bodybuilders have an off season in most cases their abs and cuts almost vanish as well as less vainy etc.

2 weeks prior to a show they get cut up like crazy and its all lasiks all aldactone that does it.

Now I dont recommend him taking these dangerous pills but xpel is a natrual vit.

I dont know his diet, I dont know his age or BMI or anything but takeing a natrual pill to get rid of excess water cannot hurt.

gornyhuy 10-15-2004 08:20 AM

Anyone who is sucking down Mt. Dews in quantity has tons of High Fructose Corn syrup which is high calories that your body can't even really recognize as energy or digest as energy so it puts it right into storage - i.e. Fat.

Secondly, all that caffeine is already a strong diuretic and IMHO it doesn't do a consistent excercize routine any good to be dehydrated cuz you are pissing out all your water.

Just cut the soda, eat sensible small balanced meals 6 times a day and make sure to get cardio and especially large muscle lifting (squats, etc) to increase your metabolism and keep it up.

Goonx 10-15-2004 08:21 AM

if you have no abs, then there is nothing to show...

i understand that some bodybuilders do use them, however you have to remember your giveing advice to someone who for the most part seems pretty clueless ( drinkin mountain dew no real understand of bodyfat ect) so you have to cater your advice to him. As in telling him the basics and where to get some better advice and help. He is not a bodybuilder.

Trixie Racer 10-15-2004 08:29 AM

You need to work your back muscles too. While low body fat and crunches are both very helpful, if you don't work out your back you probably still won't get the results you want for your abs. The muscle groups are related. :2 cents:

Gynecologist 10-15-2004 08:30 AM

Liposuction is just a few thousand dollars.
