Well the collar's are next to useless. Make sure you get AdvanTAGE from a vet and not AdvanTIX from a pet store. World of difference.

Revolution is even better than Advantage, it takes care of heartworms also, costs a bit more, but if you live where there are mosquitos (dogs get heartworms from them) you might want to get that instead

My sister told me to only use Advantage because some of those multi product ones (for fleas and ticks or fleas and heart worm) can actually be toxic. I'll have to ask her about that specific brand, but she did say Advantage specifically.

Have you tried cleaning your house? perhaps have an exterminator spray, then after a few hours, vacuum and discard the bag.

It's good stuff, I've been using it on my cats and dogs since it came out woth 0 problems. Oh it also takes care of ear mites and sarcoptic mange.
