I honestly don't care if she's scamming. The shit he's pulled while a Fox "news" man this is just his Karma

DX 10-14-2004 08:23 PM

What shit?

aggressive interviewing?

Spunky 10-14-2004 08:24 PM

If you are a celebrity or sports star ,you really are a target for bullshit lawsuits. It sometimes is cheaper to settle out of court than hire a lawyer and go through all the bullshit.

EscortBiz 10-14-2004 08:26 PM

Hes got a big mouth like rush limfuck and you dont know how powerful certain people are, he opens his mouth hurts the wrong people and bamm watch more and more shit go down on him, already talk there is pics of him getting whipped by some dominatrix in the city.

Some people can really fuck peoples life up ive seen it first hand, where it came from he might never know.

KRL 10-14-2004 08:29 PM

LOL, a couple years back, the CEO of a tech company offered my ex-wife $1 million of his company's stock to be his Executive Assistant and to accompany him on all his biz trips.

That's sexual harrassment too.

She sued him for $2 Million which was even funnier and he settled to stop it from going to trial.

WarChild 10-14-2004 08:39 PM

Interesting topic. It's unfortunate that weak minded fucks take advantage of protections that are supposed to be afforded to victims.

The last company I worked at before going full time in to Adult was sued for sexual harrassment because of my websites. People knew I had them and used to ask me questions about traffic and how much money my sites made. One girl always seemed interested and I would chat with her about it. Conversations she most often started.

Turns out this Lady was stupid (which I knew so shame on me) and eventually got fired. When she did, she came back with a lawsuit. The company paid her to fuck off but the whole thing was ridiculous.

In Canada the laws are so vague it's absurd. What makes someone "uncomfortable" is such a subjective thing. What if I was uncomfortable with homosexuals. Would an openly gay man be sexually harrassing me?

reynold 10-14-2004 08:42 PM

sometimes, there's no clear cut who are the victims and who are the abusers...:(

Tom_PMs 10-14-2004 08:45 PM

her mistake was setting such a high price. It's not illegal though to settle out of court.

MrIzzz 10-14-2004 08:49 PM

SpikeHeel 10-14-2004 08:52 PM

KRL, She doesnt *have* to complain to anyone whatsoever.

Now, some (most) corporations have a policy to inform employees to please use the chain of command at whatever level necessary to bring any workplace harrasment charges to light.. But even then it's understood that some people simply dont feel secure following that route.

Imagine being faced with the option to go to your bosses boss to complain about your boss and wondering "gee, could this effect my job?". It's not a simple issue, lol..

And if it's a TV personality? omg theres no way you're gonna walk down a hall and tell someone up above that mr. personality is whacking off while he tells you to use your vibrator after you give it a name... With their billion dollar lawyers you'de be let go so fast with no loopholes or any way in this world to bring the charges after the fact.

Goatse 10-15-2004 01:29 PM

If your boss was a gay man who constantly hit on you, told you of his sexual exploits and fantasies, and masturbated on the phone while talking to you, even though you repeatedly turned him down and told him to cut it out, wouldn't such a man's behavior constitute harassment? Now, if that behavior kept getting worse and you felt that you could lose your job if you told him once and for all to stop it...

Some sexual harassment lawsuit are clearly bullshit. But if half of the claims about O'reilly are true, the sick fuck deserves much worse than a few millions out of his bank account.

Peaches 10-15-2004 01:53 PM

I think it's some of both.

Through the years I've heard enough suggestive talk, seen enough affairs, pictures, etc. that if I wanted to play the sexual harrassment lottery, I'd make a mint.

Many times women want to be treated like equals in the workplace then get upset when they're treated like equals in the workplace. I have always been on the technical side when I was in corporate world and most of the time it was me and 6-10 guys working together. If I wasn't able to handle them and their comments, I wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes.

OTOH, if you're threatened with your job unless you have sex or provide other sexual favors, THAT'S harrassment, IMO.

My favorite was a boss who told me I was lucky he didn't tell me to get on my knees and suck his cock. I said, No, YOU'RE lucky you don't tell me that because I'd love to own this place :thumbsup

XPays 10-15-2004 01:57 PM

I actually have 2 friends that were constantly harassed by their gay bosses. They never said anything because they figured they would end up getting fired for causing trouble with the gay dude. They were probably right.

All that suggests is that she's money hungry. It doesn't prove that O'Reilly never did or said the things she claims he did.

kinda funny thinking about Snoop & Ludicris doing a fuck O'Rielly compilation in the near future ;)

esp since he was so "I'm Mr. Morals" and got one booted from a Pepsi contract and the other booted off a Muppets holiday gig...

PS: where's the pics of this chica? was she at least a hottie?

Thats why some alleged victims get lawyers instead of complaining through chain of command.

NichePay_Manny 10-15-2004 04:51 PM

In California this year Sexual Harrassment cases is up 40% again.
It is always the girls r complaining u hardley see guys with the case against girls. It is all bull shit!!!!!

Drake 10-15-2004 08:56 PM

She apparently has tape recordings of things he's said. We'll just have to wait and see if there is any real evidence for this.

I somehow don't trust or believe her allegations at this point. She returned to work for O'Rielly after working at CNN. If he was what she claims he was, why would you want to work for him AGAIN?

I'm not necessarily a fan of O'Reilly, but he deserves justice like anybody else.

xclusive 10-15-2004 08:57 PM

I don't think so in thus case it's fraud...

Drake 10-15-2004 08:59 PM

Sadly, if things like this happen on a growing basis, you wouldn't not want to hang around women alone or work with women on an individual basis once you're successful. Even if you win the case and are innocent, everybody will always view you with suspicion.

Webby 10-15-2004 09:13 PM

Forget the personalities involved.. they are no different to anyone. They have the usual pervert element and pedos within their "group" and get cuffed same as most people for offenses.

If someone messed with an unwilling participant - it's "assault" of some kind. It's up to a court to listen to actual evidence and deliver a verdict - not some "trial by TV" bullshit.

Asking for 60million is yet another typical example of how fucked up the law is in the US. Sure, ya can ask *anything* you want and it's an obvious legal ploy - but reality "should" be different.

I doubt ya can blame the alledged victim for the mouth of her lawyer in asking for damages.

Mmmm *s*... Can't say I've ever been accused of assault and my friends are the same.

Truth is.. there is one massive load of ... stupid guys out there who think they can do what the fuck they want. I can actually see that mentality on GFY with some. (I'm not talking about joking shit - it's clear why some are in the "adult biz")

Rapes and assaults against women occur.. forget the timing... but something like once per 30 seconds in the US. In the instances I know about (from US law friends) - these sure ain't some figment of imagination - they are often serious assaults.

When ya look at the perps - they come from a whole range of backgrounds - from bank managers to .. well.. just scum :-)

The joke was, about 8 weeks back, one of these idiots actually chose the wrong victim (it was a female law enforcement officer) and attempted an assault. Last I heard he has been released from hospital and is awaiting trial :-)
