GFY search? sorry I'm lost...
I see that the search option is back, but I probably missed some announcements and instructions or something.. I cannot get it to work properly.. Sorry if this has been talked about already.
I was trying to find an old thread (my own http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif), titled "How to get paid?". So I entered that exact phrase, between " and ", and I got almost all latest topics as results.. For example, I got "Free hosts redirecting foreign traffic" thread by gkk, and it doesn't even contain the sub-phrase "get paid" inside... Am I doing smth. wrong? |
WHat forum was that in?
|
I was in "Fucking around and program discussions", clicked on search, entered the exact title of the thread, and got lots of not related results..
Later I found that "How to get paid?" thread on page 13.. Do you get that too? |
Maybe you have to place "and" between the
words? ------------------ ========================= $35 per download! |
I doubt that this is the cause, there are search tips below, and I was going for "Match a phrase"..
|
My bet is that your query contains ignored words.
We'll check Monday. |
Maybe, but look at the 3rd post in this thread: http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/cgi-bi...1&topic=007279
I don't need anything now, I found what I was searching for, but I'm curious why this happens.. [This message has been edited by danevans (edited 08-20-2001).] |
