Splitting WMVs without that annoying blank/frozen first few seconds
 

Every time I split a WMV file, all of the split parts after the first one have a few seconds where the sound plays but the screen is either blank or frozen on the first frame of video. Does anyone know how to avoid this? Do I have to reencode the videos with different keyframing or do I have to reencode each individual clip or is there some third option, such as a video splitting program that does not suck?

Thanks, I actually own (and have for a long time) the registered version of their splitter. It had the same problem with WMVs and one day it started crashing every time I used it I was never able to get it running properly again.

I use the Boilsoft app all the time on my Win XP machines and it works great.
