I've been using Verotel for a couple of years, haven't had any major problems. I would think twice about considering them for a new project though, they have been doing some unusual things lately such as ticketsclub, and now "minding" your domain... I don't know if it's Visa asking them to make these changes, or they're just trying to find sneaky ways to stay out of sight.

i recommend them highly, been using for a while w/ no issues and always clockwork payment by wire. but i should mention, i wouldn't bother using them unless you are planning to be a "Verotel Pro" merchant, their ticketsclub system is not reall appropriate for anything other than micro-sites..

rowan, the domain minding issue only applies to the TicketsClub from what i understand, i suppose in an effort to get around them not registering as merchants in the netherlands... the Pro service is solid though..

verotel is like PayPal in that when there is a problem it's a major clusterfuck but usually they are fine...

they used to, i don't think they do any longer (maybe for accounts w/ a high chargeback ratio?)..

It's solid for existing pro customers, but new ones could face a 90+ day wait.

BTW, as of Oct 15th ticketsclub customers are no longer required to link to their members area through that ridiculous interface. Hooray!

do they or don't they? anyone knows for sure?

No they don't, unles you are a chargeback concern.

I have been with them for three years and am a Pro user. They don't scrub as hard as CCbill, and I have never had any problems with them....:)

I think http://www.nikrobilling.com takes Canadian companies.

bump to hear more about Verotel :)

I use ticketsclub. It's not the greatest, but for now it beats paying out thousands of dollars while I get my site going. It's tough getting affiliate if you don't use CCBill though. That's the biggest issue.
