4 Lifeguard Stands at the Beach for guess how much?
Get a load of this crock of shit.
Our local city government just awarded a contract for $218,000 for 4 new lifeguard stands at the beach. The builder who got the deal said the high cost was due to having a bench and table installed in each of them and having sliding glass doors. Yeh that's the ticket. :321GFY :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |
that was my contract yo stop whining cause i outbid you :Graucho

made of wood.
Yeah. They cost that much. They will hire some illegal people and pay them like 3 dollars an hour, and use untreated wood, with cheap paint. |
man, that is pretty ridiculous

Jesus that's over 50k each.. shit in Palm Bay FL a few years ago you could buy a damn house for that much.
|
I hope they are hurricane proof for that price
|

South Florida.... On the beach.... Ocean View.... Sure, it's probably low on the square footage and plumbing, but it just might be a good deal! :thumbsup |

That is some preposterous shit.
|
Sounds not like a life gaurd stand but like one of the small lifegaurd stations they have on the beach.
|
Hmm, don't know anything about the industry, so can't comment on the price.

Anyone was welcome to bid a lower price and win the job. Not the governments fault nobody did.
|
that's a clear proof of nasty corruption. those stands will be a pile of garbage for just few months, you see.
