Important questions for affiliates on iBill
Lens and other larger sponsors calls in legal support and may or may not get their database on members for rebilling. It occurs to me that even if they do, the transfer of the accounts to a different billing company could be iffy. So there could be fallout there in the way of lost re-bills.
What do you expect out of your sponsor on the re-bill situation? What about current business? While affiliates may have been damaged financially, they don?t have much recourse legally. How many of us have deep enough pockets to go after a failing CC processor if that?s what this turns out to be. As it ever crossed your mind that a credit card processor in distress may be tempted to find away to shave the sponsor and thus us affiliates? For that matter can any CC processor find a way to cheat? I AM NOT making an accusation here, just expressing some concerns. One expects the larger sponsors to look out for this activity, esp since they have the resources to do it and thus protect their valuable affiliates. Is that naïve or what?? As I look at my stats like many have, ya just go ahmmmm sometimes. Will leave the shaving of affiliates by the sponsor with the processors knowledge to other threads ? there have been more than a few. Discuss please. |
Do you think sagging sales for some webmasters have anything to do with iBill situation?
