got mine for a yr almost now no problems, use it 10hrs a day min charge it overnight

i looked at the new laserone but decided this one is cool

been at least 6 months and no problem. I got the bluetooth version at home and no problem yet. The rechargeables look like crappy off-brand batteries, maybe a better brand of batteries would do the trick for the mouse? No problems here.

I just got myself one a couple weeks ago. No problems yet. Charging are OK. The only thing is that i still cant get use to its decent weight after my old USB optical mouse that I messed up playing Call of Duty :1orglaugh

I ordered the MX310 but I haven't received it yet. I don't need wireless stuff so I chose this model to avoid problems.

Oder the MX1000 then, it's better then the 700.

thats the new laser one right? You got it?

How do you like it?

fudpuck 10-13-2004 09:24 AM

I have the Duo, and it worked for about 6 mo. or so. Then I moved, and went to set my computer back up...can't get the mouse to work now on the same machine.

:(

Babaganoosh 10-13-2004 09:26 AM

Same story with me. Had the duo about 5 months and it wouldn't hold a charge anymore. That cordless shit always lets me down so I just bought a $50 Logitech corded mouse. Definitely the best I have ever owned.

Had it on this machine well over a year, 16 hours a day, never a problem.

Occasionally, though, it doesn't sit right in the charger and I don't notice, then the next morning it works for a few hours, then I get the annoying red light. I just have to be more careful when I park it in the charger.

call logitech they will send you a free one. too bad it will only last for like 6 months or so :(

sheepish 10-13-2004 09:41 AM

Mine works fine except that it doesn't always sit in the cradle well - the contacts seem to be shagged.

The thing I love about it is if you strap the mouse to your head and you turn the house lights off...you look like a borg with the red beam coming from the mouse :Graucho

you have to clean the golden contacts of it now and then with some alcohol then it will connect better to the charger. Yes and get yourself two 2000 mA Brand Accus and everything is fine with this mouse.

For designers I just can't recommend Glidepads and Gildetapes not strongly enough. Glide Tapes and Pads (only for english or german speaking guys :-) No reseller in the USA until now.

Heh, I wish I still had it. I got pissed and trashed it.

KRosh 10-13-2004 10:14 AM

Have you tried replacing the batteries ??

:glugglug

vospet 10-13-2004 11:42 AM

i got one of the first ones , and it still works fine. almost 2 years old

pornguy 10-13-2004 11:45 AM

I have the cheap logitech wireless that takes 2 aa batteries.

The first set of batteries lasted me almost 5 months and that is leaving the thing turned on most of the time.

It works great.
