ccbill scrubbing harder lately?
I've experienced incredibly high ratios with ccbill lately, and other people i've talked to, maybe ccbill is currently scrubbing harder to stay away from trouble? (with the recent ibill shit...) or it's completely unrelated?
maybe it's not necessarily a bad thing now, just wanted to check how are everyone else's ccbill ratios doing lately? |
No doubt about it but it differes from day to day...

thats madness, let me say it first
"Nothing wrong on our end, are you doing anything differently with your traffic"? |
my ratio is 6 times worst than same month of last year
|
... they harder they scrub, the softer they fall.
|
My conversions are up a little
|
Guys, With #'s like that you should really be taking a look at pineapplepink.
I don't know how you can keep going that way. Pineapplepink this month, over all has converted 1 :325 That is based on all traffic the site received, TGP, SE, Banners in other paysites etc. Also it is figured on unique visitors to sign ups. Take a look, sure can't hurt... |

I got that doubled. 1:12164.0 Good thing I don't rely only on ccbill. |
... I remember once someone dropped the soap and said the same to me.:1orglaugh

I'm really not seeing it. Some days off, some days great. I think it depends on the affiliate and their traffic. Take a look at some of mine - some convert at 0% no matter what they send and some guys convert on almost every click, damn if I can figire it out a lot of the time.

I just refigured the conversion ratio... It is currently 1:307
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink it... |
thats when you know they are trying to get under the bar, when ratios are forced to ridiculous levels like that.......get a few checks returned or some CB's? then you'll get the scrub so hard you'll be raw for days from ccbill......
i can't remember but one webmaster calls them scrubbill....... :1orglaugh |
my ccbill stuff is really hurting bad. I used to rely almost 100% on those sites but now I can't deal with the roller coaster.

edit: nevermind i just noticed it's a main account, not affiliate. |
As a site owner, we are notified by e-mail when a sail is scrubed... and It is a very small % at least it has been at my site? I have never had a charge back either?

yes, it's bad

True... we do get those emails if someone is rejected, but I bet there are others that we do not see or make it that far. As for chargebacks... we have had 16 chargeback this year. CCBill really seems to keep things in check which is a good thing for everyone. While i dont liek it when they scrub hard... I do like it that we are safe and sound. And Studio... hit me up. |
I think the scrub thing is an urban legend. I get an email when someone is scrubbed. Furthermore, I have a denial page the customer gets when they have been scrubbed, pushing them with a last chance backup processor. I can see the stats on when that form is hit, and on top of that customers email and ask sometimes when they do get scrubbed.
Bottom line - I don't think scrubs have ever amounted to more than 25% or so with CCBill for me, a big number yes, but not the reason for anybody's ratios falling off the earth. |
i reach 1:7030 yesterday :(

Is it just me or is it getting even worse now?
|
The past 2 weeks my ccbill sales have been down for sure.
|
1:400 or so the past 3 days.
|
Usually I don't buy into the "conspiracy theories", but either it's just totally coincidental, or something weird is going on.
I'm used to seeing a dramatic one or two day drop off..but for the last 8 years I've never seen such a dramatic drop off in sales as I have with ccbill this last week. Maybe it is just coincidence and several 'bad" days just happened to come all together instead of spreading themselves out (I'm hoping of this one!) OR..something is up. Won't really be concerned unless the "trend" continues into next week (and saturdays have always been a good barometer for me). |
Shit.. these are some disgusting stats... sorry folks.
Now I know what not to spent time doing - tho it "seemed" a good possible project. |

|
nice to see all the 'would you hit it' threads up in here, what do you say gfy surfers, does ccbill decline your cards more often nowadays? :p

I haven't seen those sort's of numbers since I left scrubbill for Verotel...:glugglug
|
why wouldnt they? where are you going to run to? ibill? :(
|
Depends on the day, luck, database server, cookie loss etc.
With Adultcashier my conversions are about the same as before with iBill as primary. |

Last 3 days 1:7400, 1:3100 and 1:5000 while I'm usually at 1:1300 for all accounts on CCBill. Something's not right here...
