WASHINGTON - Federal regulators proposed nearly $1.2 million in indecency fines Tuesday against Fox Broadcasting Co. for its reality series "Married by America."

The Federal Communications Commission cited the network for an April 7, 2003, episode that included scenes from Las Vegas bachelor and bachelorette parties featuring strippers and various sexual situations.

Following that broadcast, the commission received 159 complaints alleging the episode contained indecent material.
