Clickcash redesigned

About time I guess...

(With the reintroduction of "What's converting?" - currently 404. Get ready for your best stuff to be stolen once again, bleh)

Mr Pheer 10-12-2004 12:47 PM

cant even login now

Basic_man 10-12-2004 12:52 PM

Looks way better !

Crypt 10-12-2004 12:54 PM

It seem they hired the same retarded designer who cant design shit

pat 10-12-2004 12:57 PM

Hmm just noticed they updated the affiliate count from 83,075 in March 01 to 117,797 in August 04.

I expected more than that. Maybe they're not including all those canned spam accounts from a couple of years back. I know I single handedly termed about 200...

Lonny 10-12-2004 12:58 PM

colors way to bright for me.

So you were single handedly responsible for me not being able to feed my family until I found a new sponsor. I owe you for that.

Their stats page is 404 for me at the moment

pat 10-12-2004 01:04 PM

You shouldn't play if you can't play by the rules.

80smetal 10-12-2004 01:05 PM

same ole clickcash just pretty, unless your a baller, forget any customer service.

Customer service has always been fine. Sorry they don't hire 40 reps to sit on ICQ for you though. :winkwink:

Your rules? Were you a Hall Monitor in School also?

The only Pat from the UK I know is a whiny jealous little faggot who takes credit for, among other "stellar" accomplishemnts, with single handedly introducing Clickcash to every camgirl on the Net? :1orglaugh

acctman 10-12-2004 01:21 PM

Urm, no, clickcash's rules about not spamming. I only ever sent spam reports of spams I personally received. I doubt I was responsible for your problems, there were thousands of emails a day coming in.

I'm not even going to rise to your other remark.

You still reporting every spam you get in email today or did you only do that to your obvious competitors?

Just wondering if you go through thousands of spams like some of the others here do. :1orglaugh

Fuck no, nowadays I let Outlook 2003 take care of 'em... and even if CC ones come in I don't know or care about them. I guess I felt more strongly in the past and more naive about the extent to which it goes on.

My partners friend came to work with me for a while and he still reported every spam he ever got. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

It seems like it's still working in StatsRemote :)

I wish this were always the case when programs change their stats area.

:thumbsup I hereby withdraw my negative remarks. I don't mail but I go by the general rule that it's better to concentrate on my own shit 100% of the time instead of pointing fingers. If I am sniffing around competitors sites it is to take their ideas, improve on them and make them my own rather than to bring them down.

Oh absolutely. I don't see anything wrong with that at all. All competition is good.

I only made the comment about best stuff stolen because in the old days CC had their 'Success Showcase', a result of which was, at the time for me, a lot of bandwidth hogging hotlinking, almost getting termed myself because of mistaken identity and general displeasure at seeing a few tens of sites a day pop up with all my own work on. It wasn't mind blowing design or anything, but it did convert and I guess I was sensitive about the competition.

I have since learnt to spread myself a bit thinner.

Your negative remarks have intregued me however - I don't know if I can say I introduced CC to any camgirls directly... hmm maybe one or two, so I think you may have the wrong Pat.

same here... and even though i had the original psd files, server logs, history, etc, etc... i ended up being the one who's account was cancelled permanently. i ended up being the one that clickcash stacy hangs up on when i call. i ended up being the one banned from their program completely. i guess they found something better to spend my payout on.

and to think, all i did was submit a gallery to the hun every three days. guess i shouldnt steal galleries and spam so much huh? stupid me. :BangBang:

my bad. :(

Yes there are a few on here who had their templates copied. I couldn't see the point as it isn't rocket science to put some pics and links on a page but I think the people who copied were just lazy and also maybe thought that there was some magic formula in the layout that led to the page converting like crazy rather than the marketing skills of the site owner :)

lazycash 10-12-2004 02:09 PM

I got excited thinking they had changed the join form, but it appears to only be the affiliate section.

mammy 10-12-2004 02:15 PM

Now the page isn't 404, I stand corrected - they're only linking to their own sites and promos...

But yes, agreed... it isn't exactly the 5-year built up result of a multi-multi million dollar company. Mind you, Al offered me a webdesign job once so I know the level of skill required :1orglaugh

pat 10-12-2004 02:22 PM

Just noticed hint of a $ payout increase:

ifriend's alternative front page incrediblecams.com - check out what it says at the bottom....

I wondered if they'd couple this with a raise.

pussyluver 10-12-2004 03:05 PM

Having problems converting iFreinds lately???

Shitty-ass design, but still a solid program.

Just tried it - links counting. 2 signups in 20 minutes, seems to work :thumbsup

Yup if you just swap in your usual url= part of a CC link with url=http://apps.incrediblecams.com/cgi/viewgrid.cgi, you'll see it get counted.

I tried their new cc.webpower.com/refer.cgi method (quoted on bottom of incrediblecams) and that worked too, but I felt somewhat safer using the conventional link, given they haven't announced anything yet.

https://orders.webpower.com/cgi/ic1Start.exe

Though, word of warning, I followed through a test signup (didn't get as far as final step which is credit card) and the html hidden field 'acct' was showing "" even though I had tried a webpower.clickcash.com and a cc.webpower.com clickthrough - the 'acct' field seems to be your affiliate account code as defined by the newer way to link to the site....

I traced my 2 signups earlier and it was a coincidence that both clicked through a few minutes before I uploaded the new links, even though it took them about 10 minutes to sign up, so they weren't from the incredible cams link. I've changed my links back to the old form now.

Stocktrader - can you verify you are getting credited from signups of anything linking to incredible cams? Maybe linking direct to the join form works because it's trusty old orders.webpower.com? How do you link to it.

Mr Pheer 10-12-2004 06:35 PM

Anybody else notice that they took down the "Whats converting" page with the new shit on it?

Oops a deluge of GFYers linking to incrediblecams before they should perhaps? Wonder if the payout increase is scheduled for Nov 1st or something? Seems a waste to create whole new $80 signup graphics for CC if they're going to switch it tomorrow...

Mr Pheer 10-12-2004 06:51 PM

So is anybody actually getting signups with the IncredibleCams page?

I switching pages now but it takes a while to change everything on 3 servers.

Ok, let us know how it goes

Its counting hits, but I'm only about 2/3 done changing links

pat 10-13-2004 07:58 AM

For anyone's info, I have it from WP that all affiliate links to incrediblecams track through to signup, so you can use the links without issue apparently. I'm going to try them again now.

Waiting on the word about payouts still.

rowan 10-13-2004 09:21 AM

Thanks for the tip on incrediblecams, just made up a new FPA. :thumbsup
