Was it worth doing? Was thinking about it but with over 2000 albums it will probably take me years.

    After I read that I started, 5-6mins a CD * 300ish.
Wasn't too bad. Least I know that if the CD's die i'll have the HD backup. [+ Another Harddrive incase this drive dies]

      order your albums at allofmp3.com

one album costs around 1 $ .. and the site is legal (they pay the russian RIAA fees)

Not talking about CD's, talking about vinyl. CD's you can transfer fast, but impossible with records.

Vinyl .. before my day heh.
Erm, I'm sure you could get some company to do it for you.. but buying the albums again would probably be cheaper.
