I'm guessing that the whole $99/month server market is losing steam. These guys were supposedly backed by Rackspace [financially and with BW] and started by a cofounder of Rackspace.

$7.5MM implies about $12MM in revenue but raises the interesting spectre of what kind of losses they must have been seeing.

Does anyone host at SB? Do they know something about why this had to occur sooner rather than later?

I heard from one of their BW providers that they were significantly behind on their bill payments.
