I think you mean communism - russia right now has democracy (and a better president than Bush running it)

Not really. The need to expand its territory by installing puppet regimes, the abolition of free speech (under the pretext that it poses danger to national security), the arrest of those who speak out against the government (going as far as extraditing Bobby Fischer) are all hallmarks of the Soviet regime. America's economic system is still obviously capitalist, but socially we're witnessing events eerily reminiscent of the early days of the Soviet empire. But hey, as long as no one is starving and they're not arresting you, why the hell would it bother you?

The CIA has made people disappear and used torture ever since it was created.

Bush has nothing to do with it and right now the CIA is trying to make sure Bush doesn't win.
