Should I help this guy out?
When I met my girlfriend she had a female roommate and then this guy moved in with them saying he needed somewhere to stay while he was waiting on a settlement for an auto accident. So he moved in and doesn't help pay the first bill stays for 6 months and then his settlement comes in so he leaves without even giving either of the girls a thank you. I think it took him less than 3 months to spend all his money and then we ran into him at a club and he tells us he is selling pills to support his drug habit. I am not innocent but I know one thing for sure and that is if you are going to make money selling drugs you can't be addicted to what you are selling. But anyways he ends up going to jail for 6 months on an old warrant for drinking and driving. When he gets out he starts right back up on doing drugs , three months later he is arrested at a local strip club, it seems after a long night out parting he has run out of money and is trying to sell some pills to the DJ. His dad bonds him out and this is when he starts coming over to my house cuse he heard I was in the biz and is looking for a DUCK I guess. But after going to the clubs a couple of times I realize this is still a person who is always broke and always needs a ride I break contact with him. Well last week I see in the paper he has been picked up for selling drugs, public drunk and aggravated simple escape.Well I called a friend to see what happened cause I have never heard of that escape charge. They say at a local club he gets drunk tries to sell the bartender 2 xanax for some beer and and then gets arrested. So he called me today wanting money for bail saying he did nothing wrong. I told him I think it is best if he stays in jail for awhile to get sober and maybe learn his lesson. I really do not think this will help him but I think with all the charges coming at him that it will just be a waste to bond out, I am preety sure when and if he would go to court they would just put him back in. But my girlfriend thinks that we should give him a chance , her idea is to get him out and teach him the biz. AHHH I regret telling family and friends that I am in the biz. So am I wrong or not???

if he didn't do anything wrong (selling perscription drugs is illegal) they will hold for up to 72 hours, then let him go on time served. He's a chronic case not your responsibility. Let him learn he needs to get a real job.

Are you serious??? The guy moves in with your girlfriend and leaves once he has some big settlement.. pisses the money away.. then keeps getting arressted for the same damn charge and you want to help him????? There are times when you being nice and hlepful is appreciated, and then there are times when you need to watch out for your own ass. :2 cents:

If this was my friend of 10 years,,,I'd still help him.
Since you don't even know this guy,,,the only thing he has to offer is trouble. Do you need more trouble in you life? |
Girlfriend lets guy move in for 6 months free.
Girlfriend gets fucked when he leaves. Girlfriend wants you to help him when he's arrested for the 5th time. I would be grilling the girlfriend. |
