Do you believe in Karma?

Taking out the religious/mystical aspects of the concept of Karma, do you believe that every thought and action will have a PAYBACK?

mookienow 10-11-2004 06:43 PM

Everything evens out.

NichePay_Manny 10-11-2004 06:44 PM

Doctor Dre 10-11-2004 06:45 PM

So if you are a jackass to people or an unforgiving asshole, will you be getting the SAME type of treatment or will the 'evening out' process take a differing form? ie., someone you love dies or you get paralyzed, etc etc?

tical 10-11-2004 06:46 PM

nope

fuckin hippies

SpikeHeel 10-11-2004 06:52 PM

yes! i believe in karma, what you give is what you get in return. actually, it's one way of giving people a lesson that should be learned.

kenny 10-11-2004 06:52 PM

What if they are assholes and can hide behind the law? Then are you left a sad husk in the hollow shadow of your impotent manhood vainly clenching the dust that is your empty fury?

Gynecologist 10-11-2004 07:00 PM

Believing in karma just makes losers feel better.

If you went to the doctor and discovered you have colon cancer and have only 5 months to live, would this automatically make you a loser?

MikeVega 10-11-2004 07:03 PM

Gynecologist 10-11-2004 07:15 PM

Sorry, I still do not understand your question.

My point is that bad things eventually happen to everyone. Every person on this planet will die as some point. So people who believe in karma, curses, etc will always think they are right when something bad does occur.

Yes, I do believe in karma just because I've seen it so much in my own life! Sometimes it's been even freaky.

Actually, the 69 is the pure expression of karma balance...:Graucho

Bigjohn 10-11-2004 08:32 PM

Yes, I believe Karma exists. I also think that creating good karma is a long slow process but bad karma builds very quickly.

I strongly believe in Karma, and see it just as Newton's III Law:

"For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction."
