How can I do this? (combining 2 hi-speed connections)
 

I have a decent cable modem with an upload speed of 45 KB/s.
I also have access to a wireless network that can upload at about the same speed. Is there some way I can use these 2 connections on 1 pc? sort of like a shotgun modem setup back in the day...

You need a dual WAN router, sometimes known as a multiplexer.

Double check that that specific product will let you use both at the same time. I think it will.
