Been there, done that...
Two years ago, COMP USA....downsized their entire networking department and my MCSE network administrator was out of a job..and, they did this whilst he was on a job in Oregon.....that was not a great time for us..and we ended up moving to Georgia to make our little cigarette company into a corporation....that is now doing pretty well....
It was real scary for a while there...and, I wish you well.
