My New House Is Almost Finished!
 

Our new house is almost finished. The first floor is complete, the basement/second floor is roughed in just needing drywall, paint, and carpet.

Excuse me for asking tho, but wtf is a Panic Room? LOL

Well a couple of reasons. The first of which is: I married a mexican chick. They often suffer from what I call "Hispanic Panic". The second reason is since I moved from Los Angeles to middle America, I found that we have these crazy things called tornadoes.

The room has its own power supply with generator backup, its own air, water etc.

Thats why the wife and I left Los Angeles. The property and house was less that $250,000.

Well that was my wifes design.

A panic room is a room that is basically break in proof/ bomb proof, and has its own seperate water/power/air supply. It has video moitoring and has a secret entrance so nobody knows its there.

Ahaha. What state? I grew up with tornadoes. All you need for tornadoes is a basement, hehe.

I am now in Missouri.

I am planning on it. We are going to move in next weekend since the main living area is done. The bottom will take about another month according to the contractor. But as soon as it is completely done I'll be posting more pics.

Ya, the backyard kicks ass! I own all the way down to the creek. Although I do have a neighbor to both the right and the left, there is nothing behind me for about 300 yards.

My new cardboard box home is almost complete. All I have to do is tie the doors on.

Game rooms are the best, I am finishing up a little area for myself with a pool table and a bar. My GF took me to some expensive ass furniture spots for some big leather couches and I was shitting at the prices.

Took a look in the SE's and found these for a quarter the price, http://leathergroups.com/brownnailhdwdtrimgrp.html. Ordered it today should get it within 2 weeks they say.

What is a panic room?

It's explained earlier in the thread...basically just a bomb proof room with it's own air, water, etc.
