Is Google phasing out its PR?
 

I have heard rumours that Google will be phasing out its Page Rank because it can be easily manipulated and they don't like that.

I don#t think so?
The question is WHY?

Google knew that from the day they would display PR in the toolbar, people would manipulate it....

Webmasters would shit. PR is the most misunderstood and overrated aspect of the whole search engine game. Let the newbies worry about PR. The rest of us will worry about traffic. :1orglaugh

Imagine what will happen to webmasters that only want to exchange links solely based on PR if/when Google phase it out! Will they exchange links based on Alexa ranking! LOL

alexa ranking would be better than nothing...

What about the old fashion way of exchanling links with other similar sites!
