My first personal post about my life
Just quit smoking weed after 6 years of daily bong action. In my 6 years I have never tried to quit, but I have decided to quit for my health. My question is how long will it take to flush out of my system completly so I will not have cravings? Right now I am on drug free day 10 . :)

if you're worried about the damage on your lungs buy a vaporizer. has 0 impact on your lungs.

the toxins are pretty much out of your system now it's all about your mentality good luck...

You've smoked for 6 years and didn't know weed is not physically addictive? :eek7
It's all mental man just don't do it and tell yourself you don't need it. :2 cents: |

In the 10 days I have quit, every nite I have the most crazy dreams. Before, I would never have dreams. Maybe one a month. :)

Smoking marijuana can injure or destroy lung tissue. In fact, marijuana smoke contains 50?70% more of some cancer causing chemicals than does tobacco smoke. Marijuana contains more than 400 chemicals, including most of the harmful substances found in tobacco smoke. Smoking one marijuana cigarette deposits about four times more tar into the lungs than a filtered tobacco cigarette. |

it will only get easier

dammit Smack, I didnt need to know about vaperizors. :(
Its funny though, you quit one thing and you are wired on another. Today, I drank 15 cans of Mt dew. |

Good move! Congrats :)
When you've smoked that long it's usually like a "awakening" when you stop, emotions and all that shit gets a weeee bit stronger ... it's nice! :thumbsup |

I'm 39 and had smoked pot off and on since I was about 12.
It's like anything. Take it or leave it, not a big deal. Just as it should be. Just stop focussing on it as if it's a problem in the first place, and it isn't a problem at all. If you want something difficult to do, try drinking a pot of coffee a day then quitting. omg you'd rather die, lmao. |
