Nobel peace laureate claims HIV deliberately created
 

Kenyan ecologist Wangari Maathai, the first African woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize, today reiterated her claim that the AIDS virus was a deliberately created biological agent.

"Some say that AIDS came from the monkeys, and I doubt that because we have been living with monkeys (since) time immemorial, others say it was a curse from God, but I say it cannot be that.

i don't believe it's man-made, but i do believe people somewhere, whether it be parts of our government or not, do have the knowledge of how to cure it...just many factors involved...

What research do you base your belief that is not man-made on?

Is it just your belief that man would never do such a thing to another man or something?

We lived with monkeys for years and since AIDS never popped up during all those years, there's no way monkeys could possibly be the cause!

Shit happens a disease can and does mutate and that is what probably happened here. It wasn't contagious but then it was and it spread from monkey to man to man to monkey to another man...

Well, if you read up, you might find that she could be correct. I have seen a good bit of "online" proof that supports her claim. Then, what got me was reading the patent for the AIDS virus in the US patent office.
