125 is as fast as i got my eclipse to go. had shitty wheels and tires, started to get a bit of a wobble so i quit pushing it.

my new jeep i have taken to 95 when the governor restricts it from going any faster.

when i test drove the rx-8 i had it to 107, probably faster but as it was a digital speedo thats the fastest it read when i happend to look at it. at 100+ looking down doesnt seem to important, your already fucked if you get caught here in the states anyways. :)

Yep, and subtract the typical error... guess about 10% at the end of the scale and you'll get much less than 200

It's amazing how much difference the weight of the car has. I've got the Mazda 3 sport GT with the same engine and it goes 200K without any problems. I fuckin love my ride.

The Mazda 6 has a 6 cyl option with 230 HP. Why anyone would buy one with only the 4 is beyond me.

And what is the big deal with 200km? Thats peanuts, almost any new car can go that fast if you give it enough time.

Not always, I owned a car that drove 10 km/hour faster than my speed clock said. That sucked, got a few speeding tickets because of it.

The speed was nothing (we do that on side streets going to pick up groceries out here) but the vid itself was pretty cool.
