You have to edit sysoc.inf (located in /WINDOWS/inf). Under [Components] you should see the following line:
msmsgs=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7. Take the word 'hide' out of the line, and it should look like this:
msmsgs=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,,7. Exit and save.

Go to Add or Remove Programs, and click on Add/Remove Windows Components. There you should now be able to uncheck the MSN Messenger Service, and by clicking Next it will uninstall.

Just when I open Outlook..tried turning it off and disable but when you open Outlook again it signs in automatically..oh well just another annoyance :)

In Outlook, click OFF the box "Load when windows starts".
Then, just to be sure, re-boot before you use Outlook again.
I had the same problem a few days ago and was really betwicked because even though I had it diabled under options in administrative, it kept comming back.

Then Matto pointed out the Outlook option in my thread and that solved the problem! :thumbsup

SIMPLE ANSWER MY SON:

Just go to "RUN" and run msconfig and go to startup tab. Uncheck it and your golden baby.

You have performed an illegal operation.

System will now shut down,

your firstborn will be killed.
