My friend sold his biz to a mutual friend of ours and checked beforehand. It's cool. Just wondering what the market value of something like that might be as I might get rid of this one for a project I want to invest in.

A few years ago I used to make a similar amount from just one person (I guess he had suddenly a brilliant Google position or something like that). Very nice, but it worked for 3 months or so and then started to decline drastically.
What I mean is, if you have a few dozen people in your downline rather than just a (lucky) big fish, you should be able to ask for many more months revenue than in the risky case of relying on one or two fellows.

Yes I know. The primary contributor to this one has been consistent since January of this year at least. Didn't feel like going further back.

The majority of that one is from 1 guy. My big account from the same sponsor I usually do 1kish per week from 4 or 5 direct referrals and whoever they referred under that. I hand trained the direct referrals though, they don't post on boards. ;)

but i'm still curious, how many refered does it take to get that one whale? i'm sure the numbers would be similar to what paysites experience. well, maybe a bit better than what sites experience because you push them along.

My hand trained referrals produce a whale 1:2 or 3. :)

ok well, thats much better than paysites. but then again, most sites have reps who don't even know how to make a gallery or think tgp's is the only big traffic source out there.

All of my top earners except for 1 weren't webmasters before I talked to them. Most webmasters have been tainted one way or another in my opinion.
