UGA is good but to be National Champs you still have a long way to go as does every other team in the mix. If I had to narrow it five teams I'd say USC, Va Tech, FSU, UGA and Texas. Outside shots at a National Championship - Cal and Penn State (assuming they go on to beat Ohio State tonight).

I would have loved to throw Alabama into the mix - they're having a good year so far but they lost their star reciever last week for the rest of the year and I think that'll effect their chances of going undefeated (currently 5-0) - and they don't exactly have the strongest schedule around....

At the end of the year I think it will be Alabama playing Georgia for the SEC championship though and do see them winning that game.

Man, last week was rough. :( I'm did my undergrad at Auburn, so they're always first and foremost to me, but I went to grad school at Bama and my Dad is a huge, huge fan. We were all watching when Prothro went down. Have you gotten the picture of it in your email about a thousand times this past week, lol?

Btw- have you seen this weeks Sports Illustrated? It's got a GREAT picture of Brodie on the front and a really impressive write up about him, Shula and the whole team.
