Actually I would have agreed untill tonight. Tonight I think Bush made Kerry look like he was completely out of touch with how the real world worked. When Kerry talked about outsourcing and taxation it seemed like he was talking about some idealistic world and I simply do not think it would work in this one. Bush then countered with a WAY more realistic look at how corporations in America and abroad work and how outsource/importation works as well as money allocation in the real world. Of course Bush is a businessman and Kerry is a liberal lawyer so what can you expect. Last time I actually had to stop what I was doing when Bush talked about Korea and bi-lateral talks, it was the most intelligent think I had ever heard the man say, and then tonight he further impressed me with the parts I have spoken about.
While surfing after the debates I came across some people saying that Kerry is gold in formal debates but when it comes to real questions posed by real people, like tonight, he comes across as idealistic and not in touch with how the world works in reality which Bush easily will capitalize on and seems to be more in tune with business/economics. Bush can not talk formally as well as Kerry though and comes across as unintelligent and easily confused. I have to say I agree with this 100%
I am not a Bush fan but I am going to give credit where credit is due. I unlike a lot of people am not DIE HARD anyone, I listen to what both say everytime they talk looking for things that do not make sense, I try to be fair and not block out Bush just because of other things he has said, same with Kerry. Tonight Bush shined, a completely differant man than I expected.
