new ways of presenting products and product placement etc also constantly going over stats and numbers for demographics and target viewers...

doesnt help much :) u have to know your viewers before you can learn anything bout what they look for, their patterns and trends. also new "fad" sites etc and being able to predict and analize what could be the next big trend... perfect example are blogs... blogs have been around since i can remember.. more "e/n" type sites but there was a huge gain in popularity of them then it dropped then spiked again... gotta see what caused the spike and what you can do to benifit off it..

that might not be the best example but maybe u understand..
