Rock solid hosting - With a fair price.

Hey folks,
I know that this is the Xth thread about hosting, but I never checked all these threads much, because I was happy with my current hoster, now I must notice that he can't handle the traffic anymore. So I need a new hoster quickly.

What I need:
- 99,5% uptime (Fuck, it should be available always)
- A server that can handle 50-70k/day visitors easily (good amount of MySQL DB usage)
- Everthing managed (I do just the uploads and script-installs)
- A few GB webspace (upgradeable)
- 1TB traffic for the beginning. And a very flexible plan, which means the possibility to swtich to more traffic during the month.
- Of course the regular stuff like PHP,MySQL, ...
- Paypal as payment-method prefered. Or Western Union, Credit card only in a emergency (because I don't a own CC)
- Good price. ;)

That's really the last time I want to switch the host (because I hate the whole hazzle such a swtich entails)
So I need something very reliable and I'm ready to pay a little bit more, if I get the accordant quality.

Good hosts I know (but I don't know any prices)
- Natnet
- ISPrime
- JupiterHosting

I'm not sure if these are not too dear, because I want to spend for the 1TB solution max. something ~250-300$/month and for a 10mbit solution ~500-650$ (is that price possible with one of the mentioned hosts?)

reflected.net - seems to be good too. Are they reliable to 100%? I really don't want to see any fucking downtime again. Everything must load quickly even with 500-1000 users simultaneously. Sorry if this posting sounds kinda demanding, but I'm currently pissed off because my fucking page doesn't load :/

Yeah, I heard that they are good, but they are also VERY expensive. 400GB traffic = $239/month. And their biggest plan ends @ 600 GB traffic for 749$/month. If I'm not wrong I can get for this price a 10mbit line @ jupiter hosting. :helpme

Hey, thanks for your offer - but I'm not sure what I should think about hosters I don't know.
The last time I asked here for hosting I got in touch with the guy from http://www.foundrynap.com/ . He was really a nice guy on ICQ and made me the best offer. So I started my new website on his webspace, thinking that I found a solid hoster. After a few days I noticed the first short downtime...but nothing really bad. Than I was on holiday for a week and a friend told me that the website was down for at least 3-4 days, perhaps more. I wasn't really angry, because it was just my 2nd page and not that important, but of course surprised about that hoster. Two weeks later (I completely forget about that 2nd page) I was confronted with a msg like (index.html was deleted...bla) on my main page. I read on GFY that some script-kiddies deleted all index.html files on my server.
That was the point I said to myself, that I can't trust only one person who tries to tell me how great their service is.

That is nothing against you - I don't know you / your company - your service can be really good - but I heard that once too often. So now I want to switch to a well-known (big) company with a lot of happy customers. I'm not sure if this is smart or whatever, but I just want to ensure that my website will be ALWAYS available.

Not really a drama, I just stated the facts. I cannot really blame them, because I didn't contacted them after the downtimes and all that stuff, simply because I stopped working on that website. But of course if I had my main page hosted there - with such problems - I would really freak out. :2 cents:
