Anyone else buy HL2 and Counter-Strike Source today?

I purchased it through Steam. So I can play Counter Strike right now and then finish downloading HL2 once it is released. I will mostly be playing CS anyways so don't care as much for HL2

Not too much, a little though. Ya, I've played CS for a long ass time. Back before all these damn kiddies were playing with their hacks and shit like that. Or it wasn't as easy to do it. What servers were you playin in back then? I usually played in Beer For Breakfest and another group that I can't remember what they were called now.

Haha...no shit. I played on Beer for breakfast a little myself. I dipped in and out of CS and Deathmatch until DoD came along. I really didn't get into it alot until then.

The wallhackers and aimbots and shit just got to retarded for me over at CS.

I will definitely be checking this new CS out though. Atleast until the kiddies get a chance to crack the codes lol...

1.3 is old school? lol... I started playing CS when I was beta testing with gooseman before beta 1. Quit playing around beta 6 when GearBox got involved

hahah this shit is soo fucking awesome! gotta get my config all set up now. fucking crazy shit. I have been playing the beta for a few weeks and these maps improvements are kickass

LOL, someone here probably knows of my old Counter-Strike skins sites. I had the only skins site anywhere for the first year and stomped all competition that came up. It soon became the official site hosted on counter-strike.net then Cliffe showed what a douche bag he was and I moved it several times... cs-skins.net was the final domain which I sold for a good chunk of change :)

That was the biggest community I have created yet (I still have a couple), with over 50,000 registered members.
