Cheney LIED during debate: Cheney Met Edwards Before Last Night

Heres the proof:
http://blog.johnkerry.com/blog/archi...ey-Edwards.jpg

TRUE LIFE: I'm A Dick!

Before reading this, if anyone watched the debates this past Tuesday between Edwards and Cheney, Dick on numerous occasions calls Edwards allegations with respect to Halliburton totally false, quoting FactCheck.org (even though he said FactCheck.com) as a reliable source to back him up. Dick Cheney literally sat there and lied to the American public yet again. Oddly enough, this can be found on the same site:

"...Cheney wrongly implied that FactCheck had defended his tenure as CEO of Halliburton Co., and the vice president even got our name wrong. He overstated matters when he said Edwards voted "for the war" and "to commit the troops, to send them to war." He exaggerated the number of times Kerry has voted to raise taxes, and puffed up the number of small business owners who would see a tax increase under Kerry's proposals...In fact, we did post an article pointing out that Cheney hasn't profited personally while in office from Halliburton's Iraq contracts...But Edwards was talking about Cheney's responsibility for earlier Halliburton troubles. And in fact, Edwards was mostly right."

It's a shame factcheck.org is unable to deal with the traffic it gets.

Actually, that isn't bullshit. Bush has offended and alienated most of the world, which is a large part of why many countries are unwilling to send (more) troops. A more cooperative stance would likely draw in more new allies.

Countries like France and Germany don't admit stuff like this because they don't want to ruin relations with either one of the potential presidents.

he didn't imply that at all

as taken from the transcripts:

Now, in my capacity as vice president, I am the president of Senate, the presiding officer. I'm up in the Senate most Tuesdays when they're in session.

The first time I ever met you was when you walked on the stage tonight.

this means cheney is stating that the debate was the FIRST TIME he had ever met Edwards.

sorry, where i come from the first time you meet someone is the first time you see them.

dont believe me, read the transcripts http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv...bate_1005.html

the point is if he'll lie about something like that then why wouldn't he lie about halliburton, the WMD, the entire IRAQI war i don't understand how can you believe in someone that lies to the entire country like that and its so obvious

This is why I never trust any politicians... they all lie, to some degree.

When I get those phone calls during election time asking "For whom will you be voting for this election?" I respond "I don't know, which one of them isn't a politician?"

lol, that is what you call implying something

he starts talking about the senate , then he says he never met him

so he implied he never met him in the senate while saying he never met him at all

I know sometimes these politicians are hard to understand , but you should try :glugglug

You know what's really sad, when a mother of one of our fallen soldiers wants to get some answers from our "first" lady during a rally, instead gets arrested while our "first" lady looks on.

Would have thought that her son dying for defending freedom in another country had been enough of a loss for her, but no, our "first" lady had to make it clear that what her son died for in another country also took away her freedom of speech.

i was just stating that there was no implication there. he flat out said he never met edwards until the debate.

no implication, flat out lie but politicians are politicians and i think a kid could lie better then all of them (at least be more creative).

well , there was an implication ;-) he implied that edwards doesn't go to the senate too often and thus he never met him

he even says that multiple times during that debate , but of course that is how I took that,

Please get your facts straight. This woman was not at a press conference by Mrs Bush. She was yelling during a presentation. Would have happened regardless who was speaking.

No need to jump down my throat... I'm not a Bush supporter:glugglug

Bush's Criminal Acts and other Shady Deeds:

At least one conviction for drunk driving in Maine (Texas driving record has been erased and is not available).

AWOL from National Guard and Deserted the military during a time of war.
Refused to take drug test or even answer any questions about drug use.

All records of my tenure as governor of Texas have been spirited away to my fathers library, sealed in secrecy and un-available for public view.

All records of any SEC investigations into my insider trading or bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and un-available for public view.

All minutes of meetings for any public corporation I served on the board are sealed in secrecy and un-available for public view.

The rest of the world doesn't trust Bush and company.

It starts with ideas like this:
http://www.cbc.ca/news/iraq/issues_a...eck030317.html

A lot of people around Bush think that it is their devine right to rule the world... the problem is alot of the world doesn't think so.

If Bush gets in for four more years ( very likely) then we may end up with the USA against everyone... won't be a pretty sight.
