The strong Canadian dollar doesn't help.

stocktrader23 10-07-2004 04:45 AM

I'm gonna give you all good Karma by investing in USD/CAD.

But why is the dollar so strong? Because of the poor US economy. The high oil prices.

Once Kerry is in office i hope to see the 1.40 rates again, the way it should be!

zvik 10-07-2004 02:08 PM

Yeah it sucks big time :/ i started when it was 1.40...

any solution guys ?:)

doober 10-07-2004 02:11 PM

Economists are predicting an 85 cent dollar by next summer

:glugglug

Project-Shadow 10-07-2004 02:20 PM

1 US Dollar = 0.56303 British Pound
1 British Pound (GBP) = 1.77610 US Dollar (USD)

Dollar is actually a bit stronger today.. has been 1.8 steady for the past few months :(

Wiggles 10-07-2004 02:25 PM

Yeah I used to make a mint on exchange, now its sad :(

xxxdesign-net 10-07-2004 02:34 PM

the question is will it drop after that? ANyone knows the Martin's policy on the dollar...? Keep it strong?

Paco, of Large Cash. 10-07-2004 02:35 PM

I think the CND-USD conversion rocks.

Hell, I have been on a long-term spending spree?and it keeps getting better each day.

I believe in supporting Canada by buying Canadian goods, like weed, but every once and a while I need things from the neighbors below...like a pair of freeheel bindings.

Not once have I felt bad when purchasing a cheap new pair of Hammer Heads.

Strife 10-07-2004 02:38 PM

when will it stop...I can remember when I thought 1.47 was low... :waaaaahh

foolio 10-07-2004 03:11 PM

flashfire 10-07-2004 03:12 PM

fuzebox 10-07-2004 03:14 PM

No idea what his policies are but i have feeling it will keep going up, not so much in such a short period of time tho.

In my opinion if the current admin stays in the US then you can be sure the CAD dollar will keep rising

commodity prices have helped the canadian dollar
