I heard "Robin Ophelia Quivers" report that it was 5 years 100 million dollars + a bunch of other possible additions to that figure. I believe the 500 million figure must be the absolute top prediction of what he might earn over those 5 years. |
Fuck, that's big $$$ !
|
... guess who bought SIRI 2 month ago and just sold today ??

When you think about it that's about $800,000 per broadcast. He's on for 5 hours. That's only $160,000 an hour. Am I'd bet its structured on a gross basis where he's got to cover the show costs out of that. |
That's an offer you just can't refuse
|
Ridiculous...I would have never have thought he would ever get that amount..he sure as hell isn't worth it
|
Sirius, which now has more than 600,000 subscribers, hopes Stern can bring along up to 4 million new recruits and catapult its business into the black. They said they'd need at least 1 million to cover the costs of signing Stern.
LOL, that's a lot of signups to get. |

"Robin Ophelia Quivers" also stated that Howard needed to only bring ONE million new subscribers to Sirius in order to cover the annual cost of his contract, AND to cover all of the production costs of his show (costs). |
Is he going to be on xm or siruis?

Paying for radio (with advertisments no less) has never made sense to me. Especially with internet radio ramping up the way it is.

Howard Stern sucks. Same shit day after day after day.

Goddamn, that is fucking ridiculous.

Yeah, but he's gonna have 3 channels to program and he's taking on a lot of promotional responsabilities also. It's gonna be a lot of work for him. No doubt, it's a sweet deal though. His E! contract is also up at the end of this year. I think HBO or a smaller cable network would be crazy not to position themselves like sirius did and sign him for a TV deal. Howard is gonna finally be uncensored and there needs to be a TV show to match it so we can finally see what all those strippers look like naked. |
Good for him, the guy is good at what he does. I have listened every morning for the last 8 years and he is the best.
I do not have satellite radio but I will get it now for sure, why not. |

We have sirius at the office. The sound quality is as good as it gets.
|
he will revolutionize paid radio just like he did free radio. the only reason his fan base isnt bigger right now is because certain stations refused to carry him.
but now, with him being uncensored, he is going to explode. watch him bring controversy to a new level and watch him bring the millions over to sirus. i know i'm gonna subscibe when he moves over just to hear him. |
thats some nice green. :glugglug
|
he also gets to program and take a cut of 2 or 3 additional channels. he'll probably justy hire every single one of his competitors. he'll literally OWN his competition. Howard rules. good for him too. he got me through some tough times.
