17" widescreen laptop

I work with only a 17". Gonna switch to dual 19" very soon!

21" CRT and 19" LCD

Are 21"'s too large in your opinion for general use (surfing, etc.)

Nah. I have a 21" sony E540 on my main desktop and I use it for damn near everthing. photoshop, surfing, gaming, and I never had any problems or complaints.

I have a 19" lcd and it works fine for me :)

I want to get a 21" for PS, design programs, etc. but I haven't really used a 21" for the internet.

19". I also have an old 15" and 17" hooked up to two other boxes but I don't surf with those or do much work. It's hard to imagine now how I ever did anything on a 15".

21" is the perfect size if you can sit it back far enough. 24 causes eye strain

Hard to pick an answer, I've got a 21' and 19' crt and a 20' and 17' lcd all on my desk.

The one I'm using right now is a 17incher. Planing to grab a few 19s
