SEO how many hits a day does it take?

How many hits a day are you big SEO guys pulling from google and yahoo?.

I have a new domain I have been working some Search engine stuff on. It is up to about 8000 a day but sales are not that great.

How many hits do you think you need to make 10+ sales a day assuming you are not cloaking anything but have VERY heavy advertising and pics linked to sponsors.

Thanks if anyone replies LOL

You've got 8000/day SE hits, and not doing 10 sales? Find better keywords, and bank more on Yahoo then Google...

If you're doing that kind of ratio, there's a problem with your marketing. Make sure the landing page you're showing to surfers matches as precisely as possible the keyword(s) they searched for.

If it's that direct of a search, and you're converting that poorly - it's either going to be a bad landing page layout, a rough patch of cheap surfers, or simply they're searching for someone they sure as hell won't pay for - but wouldn't mind seeing naked. Switch it up.

You have something fucked up, I promote 15 different single girl sites and average between 1 in 250 in all of them from seo traffic

Like WG said, I would take another look at your marketing, something is wrong

datatank 10-06-2004 09:49 PM

The yahoo listing is a re direct. There is no marketing. .Surfer searches for her name in yahoo they click a listing the get re directed to her tour.

Switch it up seems like the option here thanks :)

Like WG said, post the link, a few of us will take a crack at it and maybe give you some advice (without giving the trade secrets away).

Err, good point, just noticed you say you have no landing page.

Tease the audience first with a landing page - gives you an opportunity to add some keys to it as well, and filter down fuck ass surfers.

Yup. I agree 100%. At LEAST an FPA and then you can throw and exit on it too...

Maximize & filter traffic - maximize you're ability to market...why is it such a hard concept for some people? :(

Other than exit what would be any advantage of using a FPA?

rabbit 10-06-2004 10:33 PM

if i reviewed her site, you can send the traffic to the review, i guarantee it will perform :) 90% of the clicks from the review will have your affiliate code

from the horses mouth...that shit is true...if you're pulling 8000 uniques a day from the engines and you're having a hard time making a sale, you REALLY gotta bone up on sales and target/filtering...

now that you know how to get 8k hits a day, go REPLICATE your ass off mainnnngggg

Replication will happen when I see some sales:)

I will mirror this set up on 50 domains and go to town just got to get the formula for hits to sales :)

if you want a sales pitch critique hit me up on icq...

just keep a few things in mind

KISS...and white space...surfers are much like offline buyers....'the eye sells'....and they have the attention span of a fly, so sell them with good imagery FAAAAAAST, and get them to the sales page QUICK as you can....

ok, that's enough babble for me on this topic for the night :)

good luck, I'm sure you'll figure it out if you keep tweakin, study, tweak, study, etc...

:winkwink: :thumbsup

try different sponsors and maybe add a money bar to related sites at the bottom. or even send them off to another one of your sites.

What is a money bar?

rowan 10-06-2004 11:25 PM

I had an old gallery listed at #1 on google for a particular single girl for a few days, and I put in a 302 redirect going straight to her site. I expected they'd all be freeloaders searching for pics but I actually made a few sales from it. I wasn't too worried about the long term consequences of 302'ing it because it was already bouncing around the SERPs before I put in the redirect.
