I'm looking for a sizzling hot MAINSTREAM web designer.

Who would you recommend?

Depends on the niche in mainstream. I've always used the same guy, but his niche design areas deffinately involve a much more 'artsy' touch to things - works out great for musical artist sites, and dating sites

I am constantly being asked by friends and colleagues for advice on who they should go to for mainstream web design. I am considering taking on some of the smaller jobs myself. But I'd also like to have a couple of companies that I can refer larger jobs to on a commission basis.

I am looking for web designers with a large and diverse portfolio, competitive prices and a reputation for quality customer service. I suspect that I'm more likely to interested in a company than an individual. But if an individual is good enough, they might be suitable too.
