Crazy - were they focused on your chest, or where the blood clots were? Sounds crazy scary - I've got angina so I know how a "tense" chest can make you panic, but know nothing about something that bad

a clot broke off from my clotted lower leg (caused by my broken ankle and a long plane flight). it traveled to my left lung - causing amazing amounts of pain, and difficulty breathing. while in the hospital a second chunk broke off, this time loggin in my right lung, and much, much more pain. i was on a heparin drip for about a week, and was slowly moved over to coumadin (both are blood thinners). basically the idea is to prevent further clots breaking off, and to eliminate the one's in my lungs and leg.
